The Hive
I wrote this short story inspired by themes of cyberpunk and dystopia. Especially those found in the novels that were so popular when I was growing up. Its intended audience is 16+ with a specific target of Millenials. I selected this piece as an example because it shows that I can build a deep world with interesting characters and consequences.
The Little Necromancer
This story was written with the intent of exploring acceptance through a whimsical and macabre lens inspired by the likes of Tim Burton. Its intended audience is about 12+ but I think that some themes might be especially poignant for older readers. I chose it as an example because it shows both versatility and a lot of who I am as a creator.
The 6th
This is a poem about the events of the January 6th insurrection. It is also the most recent of the pieces shown here. I chose it to show versatility in what I can write as well as an ability to address serious, real-world topics.
